Development progress and information concerning the survey

Hello everyone!  

We are keeping our noses to the grindstone for the development of Dies but since we are also preparing for the Dies Irae TV anime scheduled to be broadcasted in Japan this year, we are being kept quite busy! The anime itself will later be available in English on Crunchyroll.  

We will ready for the another Dies Irae's announcement on our home page the 24th of March, it’s only in Japanese but do come and watch it!         

Development status update  

The English version of Dies Irae is now in the debugging stage, and we are working on fixing any bugs we find daily. The translation of the 18+ patch should be completed this month.  

As mentioned last week, we completed preparations on Backerkit and are now just awaiting approval from them. Once Backerkit gives us the green light we will open pre-orders and send out the Backer survey, so we have to ask you to be patient just a little longer until then. Selected rewards and add-ons will be available for purchase, and all funds gathered will still help build towards our Stretch Goals.  

If the combined funds gathered through both Kickstarter and Backerkit surpass $240,000 we will add a 16 pages mini art book to the rewards of all backers who are backing for $50 or more.  

  If the combined funds surpass $300,000 we will add a 200 pages Visual fan book to the rewards all backers who are backing for $400 or more.  

The Backerkit and Add-ons will be available for purchase until the 23rd of April.  

We really want to reach $300,000 and make that Visual fan book! We are counting on the continued support of all our wonderful backers!

我々は鋭意開発を進めております。また、日本では今年放映予定の『Dies irae』のTVアニメの準備も大忙しです。このアニメはクランチロールで皆様も英語で見る事ができます。  

2017/03/24に本プロジェクトではありませんが『Dies irae』関係で重大発表もございますので、皆様も是非見に来て下さい。

現在の開発状況  

英語版『Dies irae』についてですが、現在デバッグ作業に入っており日々デバッグを行っております。 １８禁パッチ部分の翻訳についても今月中には完了する予定となっております。 先週告知を行っておりました通り、backerkitでの予約販売の準備を完了させ、現在backerkit側の審査待ちです。 審査が完了しましたら予約販売そして、バッカーサーベーの発送が開始されますので少々お待ちください。 ストレッチゴールの継続や、一部のリワードやアドオンの販売も引き続き行っております。

Backerkit and Pre-Orders!

Hello Backers!  

Thank you for all of your patience. Today, we are happy to announce that Backerkit is almost ready for launch!  

As announced during the campaign, we will be using Backerkit for managing add-ons and surveys. Backers will be able to adjust your pledge and make choices for the add-ons. Pre-orders will be available from Backerkit as well.  

All Kickstarter backers will receive a link to the Backerkit website through the email address you registered on Kickstarter, so be sure to check your mail! The planned date is March 23rd (JST), provided we have no issues crop up before the launch.  

At the same time as the launch, we will be offering pre-ordering of selected rewards. Everyone who missed the funding period on Kickstarter can then get a copy of the game in English, as well as a chance to get hold of Dies irae merch.  

The planned duration of the pre-order is one month, between Match 23rd to April 23rd (JST).  

Also, we have a special sneak peek of the colored cover art for the Kickstarter copies of Dies ire -Amantes amentes-. Please note that this image is still work-in-progress, and is subject to change.

Progress Report

Hello Backers!

Thanks to all of you, the Kickstarter was a success having gathered $224,180 in funding. Cheers to you! We are all set now to begin the final stages of work with the release date in May.

Starting off the updates is a quick note on the translation. The all-ages version has been completed, and now the translation for the patch is currently underway.

As for the programming, progress is proceeding at pace. The main part will be completed soon, and we plan to start debugging at the end of the month.

The Dies irae English Localization Project is Funded!

Yes, the Dies irae English Localization Project has been funded! You have mightily shaken the ground to emanate the Dies irae wave across the globe!

Heartfelt thanks to all 2,577 of you for your support! You have most admirably risen to　champion Dies irae for the world. We celebrate you as the heralds of this auspicious beginning!

The final funding total for the project is $224,180, which means the Playstation Vita digital stretch goal has been met.

There will be updates coming soon regarding the backer surveys and fulfillment. The backer surveys will be the time we ask you to confirm your reward details, shipping information and add-on choices. There will also be updates with information about post Kickstarter campaign activity, so please stay tuned for what lies ahead!

All of us here thank you again for your tireless efforts and enthusiastic support that have successfully funded the project. The Dies irae legacy for the English speaking world is now set in stone and thus begins a new era. Atziluth!
