Greetings Backers,
We are now into 2018 and all of us here at the Dies irae World Emanation Project want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! With all of our backers in our hearts, we look forward to doing our utmost to see the project through and making this year a good one for all of our backers.
This update concerns a change to the "Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~" R18 patch route clear prerequisite.
"Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~" on Steam has now been updated so that backers who have both DLCs (listed below; backers whose rewards include the digital version should already have been sent keys for the DLCs) , can play "Dies irae ~Acta est Fabula~" without having to clear a route first.
To play "Dies irae ~Acta est Fabula~", you will first need to start up "Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~" once. The prologue comes up first, but you can quit once the game is fully loaded.
We hope you will take advantage of the change to enjoy the experience.

改めまして、本年もよろしくお願い致します。 皆様にとって今年がよい年になるよう、最後まで全力で本プロジェクトを進めていきたいと思います。
今回のアップデートでは、「Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~」にて一つのルートをクリアしなければR18バージョンが遊べない仕様の変更をお伝え致します。
先日、Steamにて公開されている「Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~」のアップデートを行いました。
この変更により、Steamより発売されている以下のDLCを両方所持している支援者様は、ルートをクリアせずとも「Dies irae ~Acta est Fabula~」をプレイすることができるようになりました。（リワードにデジタル版ゲームが含まれている支援者様には、すでにDLCを利用するコードが配布されているかと思います）
プレイできるようになる方法は、Steam版「Dies irae ～Amantes amentes～」を1度起動するだけです。最初はプロローグから始まると思いますが、それを読まずにゲームを終了しても問題ございません。

The loading issue concerning the R18 patch addressed in the December 25th update has been resolved. Instructions are below.
We have confirmed that the problem was due to an error in the
character encoding on a file used to save data that caused an unintentional naming.
Please download and run the corrected file launcher from the link below:
We are currently investigating why the Steam version of “Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~” may not start up offline. A report will be posted as soon as possible, but we please ask for time until a resolution can be found.
We once again apologize for the trouble involved and humbly ask for your continued support going forward.

[解決]R18パッチが起動しない問題について
みなさんこんにちは。Dies irae サポートチームです。
以前、アップデートにてご連絡致しました、R18パッチが起動しないという問題が解決致しましたので、急ぎご報告を致します。
私たちでこの問題について調査をしたところ、セーブデータとして使用しているファイルが文字コード（
文字コードとは）の問題により、意図しない名前になっていたことが原因であると分かりました。
これについて、修正したものを再度アップロード致しましたので、以下のダウンロードリンクより起動ファイルのダウンロードをお願い致します。
また、Steam版の「Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~」がオフラインで起動できないという件については、現在調査中です。
大変申し訳ございませんが、こちら解決までお時間を頂ければと思います。
改めて、この度はご迷惑をお掛けして誠に申し訳ございませんでした。

Sorry about the late notice, but “Dies irae” is now available for purchase at the MangaGamer Store.
The previous announcement on the MangaGamer release can be found here:
They are putting the game on sale until January 3rd, 2018 as launch discount for 15% off.
We hope you can recommend “Dies irae” to your friends during this opportunity.
*The game contents and resolution are exactly the same as the Steam version (+R18 patch) provided to the backers.
R18 Route Restrictions
The restrictions placed on the R18 routes have been a terrible inconvenience for everyone, so we would like to explain our reasoning for implementing this system.
Without this implementation, by adding the R18 patch to the Steam install folder, the routes could be played without purchase. This simply means that “Dies irae ~Acta est fabula~” be played for free. To prevent that, we added the condition a route had to be cleared before startup. We sincerely apologize for not having explained this at the outset, humbly ask for your understanding.
Finally
We are very sorry for the many inconveniences we have caused. We are pushing forward with the project and are working hard to deliver all of your rewards. A little more time will be necessary to make this happen, and we please ask for your patience and support.

R18のルート制限について
このシステムは、皆様に大変ご迷惑をお掛けしてしまったと思います。 ですので、私たちがなぜこのシステムを設けたかの理由をご説明いたします。
簡単にご説明すると、このシステムがなければ、Steam版のインストールフォルダにR18パッチを入れると、ルートの購入をしておらずともプレイが可能になってしまいます。
これは、「Die irae ～Acta est Fabula～」が完全無料で遊べてしまうことを意味します。
それを防ぐために、ルートのクリアを起動条件とさせて頂きました。
説明不足と支援者様にご不便をお掛けして、大変申し訳ございませんでした。ご了承をお願い致します。
