Hello backers!
Combining the generous support we’ve received both on BackerKit and Kickstarter, we have raised $280,000 as of current.
Only $20,000 more until we reach our stretch goal and we’ll officially be releasing the exclusive Visual Fan Book!
As promised, backers who pledged $400 and up will be receiving a copy alongside their original rewards.
Get ready for 200 pages packed with beautiful artwork from the game and all 4 previous fan books - you’ll have trouble finding these even in Japan…

Take a break from the bloody battle scenes we featured in the previous 2 updates as we present to you clips from Ren’s casual everyday life.
Ren and Kasumi coincidentally meet a priest, who also happens to be an acquaintance of schoolmate Rea.
As they discover a side of Rea that they had never seen before, the two enjoy their time spent with her and the other church members.
Unfortunately, little do they know that these peaceful times will soon crumble before their eyes…

Our apologies for the late update.
We would first like to express our gratitude for our many fans both nationally and internationally who supported “Dies irae” at the “character1 2017” event held recently at Tokyo Big Site.
We hope to continue giving our all to bring you our very best work.
Today, we would like to share more play footage with you.
While we’ve already revealed the prologue, this footage from the beginning of the game features the first encounter between main protagonist Ren and the Longinus Dreizehn Orden, or the beginning of Ren’s drastically changed life...
We’ve prepared around 50 minutes of footage this time.

Update on the BackerKit order extension date

Hello Backers,
As announced in the previous update, we sincerely apologize for the delays. However, we are doing our very best to get back on track, so please bear with us for a bit more!
Since our supporters have been asking us about the delay, we would like to explain in further detail here.
>What do you mean by “checking the actual game on screen”?
While all of the English translations have been completed, we’ve been experiencing delays in the actual process of checking how the translated text looks on screen. That’s because “Dies irae” is jam-packed with double the amount of content that a typical PC game has to offer! Unfortunately, however, this delay has led to the disappointment of our supporters and we sincerely apologize for that.
In the next update, we plan to show you footage of actual gameplay! We hope you will stick around.
The extension date for BackerKit orders has also been confirmed – the updated deadline is Wednesday, 5/31.
We promise to bring more anticipated content to you in the next update, so please stay tuned!
Announcement and Apology for Delay on Rewards

Hello Backers,
Today, we have a bit of bad news to announce. Unfortunately, the physical game and physical rewards will have to be delayed. We sincerely apologize for not being able to meet the promised delivery date.
However, we are currently trying our best to deliver to you at least part of what we promised. Therefore, we will make sure to deliver the digital download version of “Dies irae” to everyone by the end of May.
The reason for this delay is caused from the difficulty of checking the actual game on screen. Again, we truly apologize to everyone who have been patiently waiting for its release.
Regarding the schedule, the below is our estimate of the new delivery dates.
May 31st: “Dies irae” digital version release
June 30th: Shipment of physical game and all other physical rewards
Upon this delay, we shall extend the 4/23 deadline for the BackerKit sign up. The extension period is not decided at the moment, so we will notify everyone next week of the details.
Going forward, we will give you more satisfying updates, so we ask of you to please bear with us. We will do our very best to get this piece into everyone’s hands as soon as possible.

Hello everyone,
Only 9 days left until the Backerkit closes!
We will be giving our all until the very last minute for you guys!
Don’t forget – the Backerkit survey and pre-orders are ending soon. If you have not completed your responses, please do so by April 23rd. Please make sure you have answered all the questions and filled all the necessary information by the date.
Today we will be showing you the cover and some of the content of the Visual Fan Book which will be unlocked when we hit the $300,000 Stretch Goal.
Even though it’s only a partial image, you can see how we are going into character details on a level beyond what we have in the game.
In addition to that, some in-game CG’s and rare promotional art used during the game’s release in Japan will also be featured in the book. There will also be exclusive artwork that you won’t find anywhere else!
The Visual Fan Book is a special item filled to the brim with Dies Irae charm that will be added to the order of any backers who pledged at the $400 tier and above if our $300,000 Stretch Goal is reached.
We really hope that we will be able to bring everyone this wonderful high quality book.
